Client: The Ohio Lottery
Agency: Marcus Thomas, LLC
Project: The Roll for Ohio
Challenge: Create an event to generate buzz around The Ohio Lottery’s Skee-Ball themed scratch-off game cards.
Solution: Take over three bars in three separate cities (Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus), place Skee-Ball machines in them and let customers play for free to generate a score for each city and see which city gets the highest total score for bragging rights.
This event was simulcast through a Twitch stream with Emcees provided by The Ohio Lottery and a partnership with I-Heart Radio for everyone to see how each city was doing.

Project: Slots of Fun Game Show
Challenge: Produce a Facebook Live event to generate buzz around The Ohio Lottery’s Slot’s of Fun themed scratch-off game cards.
Solution: Create a mini gameshow experience with online prizes and giveaways for all who attend the Facebook Live event. There were gags that had our co-host constantly changing costumes live and trivia was used for interactions that led to prizes being awarded. Social media manager teams oversaw the messages on the Facebook event which entered people to win. A randomized selection program was used to select winners. The final event was close to 30 minutes live.
